That is cool - and there is truth to the "watch out" for rattlers too.  I was watching a show on AP or Discovery or some such thing that theorizes we are creating a bread of rattler out west that does not rattle or give any warning before striking.  With all the round ups and kill offs obviously the ones most likely to survive are those that sit quietly while their rattlin' buddies go in the bag.  These become the breeding stock creating a snake that rattles less before striking.  Ouch!!
