No, not one bowyer start to finish. Mr. Byce told me that one guy does all of the string nocks for the 59 Kodiak repro--some guys they let do the other models but not the Kodiak. And I think one guy does the finish work on the Kodiaks. I actually like the idea of a few talented specialists making my bow rather than one guy start to finish. If all a guy does all day is string nocks, you better believe he gets good at it! Same with other aspects of production.
I too like very much what Bear is doing. In fact, Bear is making a recurve shooter out of me again. I love my longbows and have been primarily a longbow shooter for several years, but I got the new Kodiak last summer, recently got a new 2014 Super Kodiak which I am loving and have a Kodak TD on the way which I purchased from a TradGanger. Yeah, I've been bitten by the Bear bug!
