Bow quiver for a Centaur?
«

I just picked up a 62" Centaur and want to try a small bow quiver on it . I was thinking either a Thunderhorn Small Fry or Lynx. Any one have a favorite? Thanks. Bob

My favorite is a selway slide on 5 arrow. IMO, the best !

When I had my Centaur, I used a Small Fry Boa. It had a snake skin insert to match the snake skin limbs, and looked pretty sharp. Killed some deer with it, and it worked just fine.

I think an EFA would work nicely

All are really nice but I like the feather weight of the EFA.

The only thing my Centaur wears is a an EFA! Perfect quiver for this bow.

I do not like bow quivers myself, but I did try a Selway slide-on on my 62" and it did add a nice amount of mass due to its particular construction. I did not however enjoy how it caused the bow to torque and send my arrows to the right. I now either shoot the bow bare or use a Great Northern gadget adapter with a 12oz steel stab on it. Now that turns it into a real tack driver haha.

On a light bow the EFA would get my vote. Don will make it snake skin or beaver tail.

I use a Kanati strap on. adjustable enough so the arrows don't protrude way out past the bottom limb.

Selway, kinda supposed to have one seeing as Gordy mentored Jim... Call Gordy order a small 4 arrow hood slide on and never take it off

I have the Kanati Pro Angle and it works good but is heavier than the EFA.

X 2 what Stixbow said, I managed to get a Selway quiver from Gordy last summer. While I was there, he shared some of the history of he and Jim working together and how Jim took over the Bowyering end --> Centaur archery. It was an enjoyable visit. dana

I guess Thunderhorn isn't making quivers anymore? I recently sent an email, but never heard back. I knew Dwayne stopped making bows, but thought Kim might still make quivers. Guess maybe they both decided to retire. Best of luck to them if they did.
