question about Buck knives........
«

I have always carried a Bucklite knife in my pack. I have recently added several to my collection. My question is this- on the 426 model, there is a letter following the number 426 on the blade. Ie, 426x, 426> , and so on. WHAT DO THOSE SYMBOLS MEAN? Any help would be appreciated. D.

Those marks are the manufacture date symbols. You can call Buck and they will tell you the year of manufacture by the symbol you tell them is on your knife.Hope this helps
