What makes a Silvertip do what it does?

Ok guys, after squirreling money away for a year and hanging around with a bad crowd(maxwell, carcajou) and reading the guys I mentioned in previous posts, I ordered a one piece (no stinking bolts or screws) recurve w walnut riser, koa ( kampground of America.) limbs w coco bolo tips & accent stripe, w checkered grip, 45#, and DOUBLE CARBON! Hopefully this bow will cure my plucking, torqueing, dropping my bow arm & using all arms and no back muscles. Now Dave & Beth are on the clock....tic tic tic for 11 MONTHS. My daughter said "you can make a baby in less time, it's only a   stick!"

Chuck, your excellent review of the double carbon was a very timely piece of info for me, and when Dave also said it was quiet too, I had to do it. I told him of your post, but told him you never held a bow you didn't like and I wanted to hear what he thought....

Too funny, but that bow will be your baby and if you don't like it Id be glad to adopt it into a loving home.

Thank you guys, even my wife is happy I got it....secret is to just talk about a new bow for a year, talk so often that she is happy you wrote the check & she doesn't have to listen to the whining any more....
