Take it from an old surfer, the best way to get old wax off is with a hairdryer and paper towels..

I use limb socks. Three Rivers has them and the auction site has all kinds of them.

For anyone using the string wax, are you melting it down before applying it or just rubbing it on?

Tried some yesterday on a section without softening it up and it didn't come out very well. Paste wax is next.

Do limb coverings affect the bow performance when they're wet from rain?
