I had one of Don's bows. On of the best shooting longbows for the money out there. I spoke to Don a few times and he said Rich understood his design and did an excellent job building them. You can not go wrong with one of these bows.

I have a Don Dow Stik I just picked up on here. Smooth and forgiving. Very quiet as well, though coming from a recurve I guess any longbow would accomplish that. Finish and quality are better than youd expect for the price. I wanted a cheaper bow to try longbows but I guess I got lucky and landed a real shooter  I'm not too positive if its cut to center or not, but its pretty close. The guy I bought it from I think said 3/8" positive, so thats probably right. Good bow, loves my cedar arrows, not a fan of my fir. Haven't figured that bit out yet, the fir may be just a tad to heavy for it with 125 up front. Not too worried as I have plenty cedar laying around.

I also have a Don Dow Stik.  Mine is one of the last ones he made before he quit making bows.  I would like to have one of Rich's recurve bows at some point in time.  I did ask him if he plans on making any t/d's in the future but he said he wanted to try some more exotic woods first.

My stik is a shooter, great value for the $.  Hoping for my first trad harvest with it this fall.
