Just wanted to take a moment to give a deserving person my cudos. Pat Craig located in Pineville, LA delivered my custom White Feather longbow last weekend at the CenLa Bowbenders Archery Tournament in Pollock, LA.
The bow is made up of French Walnut, Ebony, Dymondwood, and some manmade white stuff that I can't remember the name of. It is 64" long and 46# @ 28", absolutely beautiful, and took less than a month start to finish.
The bow felt like it had been molded to fit my hand, shot Gold Tip 1535 arrows straight as a board, and almost no noise to speak of. Took six practice shots and then shot the tournament with it. At the risk of sounding braggish, took 2nd place out of twelve trad shooters. I assure you that I don't contribute this to the skill of the shooter...hahahahah...the bow almost shot by itself.
So, my hat's off to Mr. Craig and his craftsmanship. Thanks!
