« on: September 22, 2007, 01:41:00 PM »
I just got a Selway limb bolt quiver for my ACS CX and when I put the quiver on ther is only about 3/8" of bolt left to go in the riser that is with out the nylon washer is that enough the bolts are 1 1/2" I went to the hardwear store to get some 1 3/4" bolts but all they had was 2" stainless steel and they leave about 3/4" to go in to the riser is that to much thanks for the help,Coyote2 <><

It is only to much if they bottom out, as you will split a wood riser, or not have tight limbs on a alum one. Install the limbs with out a bolt in them. Run a undersized dia. rod into the hole, to check depth. Compair to the bolt lenght. Many risers have been split from screwing in the bolts with out the limbs.(Tight!)  Use a dial calipler if available if it will go into the hole to check depth.
