So I picked up a beautiful new Halfbreed on the classifieds here a few days ago (Thanks Green!)and I need a new set of wood arrows to shoot out of it. Somehow shooting carbon through this bow just doesn't seem right. So I ordered some tapered douglas fir from Surewood and I'm about to get started. I'm having a bit of a struggle though. One side of me wants to make them "rustic", the other side wants them to be highly visible. So I decided I would do half and half for now. I would love some "decorated" white caps on the visible half, but don't have a crester. I thought about doing some kind of rattle can fade, but I've also thought about putting some wraps on them. Wraps on wood...I can't decide if I like that idea or not, any thoughts / ideas? Pictures?
