LOL, so I'm guessing we topped $70,000 (Seventy Thousand - numbers can get so confusing - LOL) pretty darned good with things tighter, the economy creeping up but still scary, and all the other factors. As my wife told me yesterday, when I told her the total for the first three bid forums, "Well, I'm sure they (St. Jude) will be highly appreciative of every bit they get, no matter the total." She is above all else, a wise realist - LOL

GREAT JOB TO ALL INVOLVED IN ANY WAY, from this ol' hoss.

I already am getting many PMs about payments, shipping, etc that contain many complimentary words as well. I thank you all, and will be answering all as soon as I can. Regarding the shipping fees, I ask only for actual mailing fees (which won't be very high on my/your items this year, as most all items are small). In view of that, for accuracy on the mailing fees, I ship and pay first, and then notify the winners of their individual fee. Which they can pay to me by PayPal, check, or MO. Thanks to all for your bids on those items, they were very gratifying, indeed. Love you all for letting/helping me be a small part of TradGang's effort to help St. Jude, help the blessed children.

That's a great effort so far. It was great to see a $300 cash donation on the fourth auction forum.  There's still time to make one if you feel left out.  In spite of what some may say is a recovery, financial professionals in my area say there's still not a large amount of new investment and projects. Banks trading paper between banks, but not a lot of new project financing. Hopefully that will improve.  I feel blessed to be in a much more stable place than a couple of years ago and I'm glad I could do more this year. I'm always in awe of those bowyers like Gregg Coffey who donate a tricked out bow or those knife makers like Tippit who contribute a masterpiece year after year. It's not too early to start thinking about next year.  I enjoyed cajoling Bud B. into making more kids arrows if I offered to send him more materials. He did so without hesitating and what a beautiful bunch of arrows he produced for the young archers of tomorrow for the auction.  Thank you again Bud. I'll make a similar offer for next year in that if someone finds an old bear bow that's in need of restoration that they want to donate, I'm willing to do the work and ship it out to the winner with joint credit given. I can do limb tip overlay replacement, complete refinish, leather grip replacement, decal replacement and filling holes. I need one to two months lead time before the auction, so keep that in mind.  

Congratulations again to all who participated.  The kids won again.
