Happy Fathers Day Everyone...Pics
« on: June 15, 2014, 12:16:00 PM »
To every Father who took the time to have catch with their sons/daughters in the backyard, or kicked around a soccer ball with them. Better yet, those of you who got your family involved with the outdoors.

My father started me real young dragging me around fishing and hunting when I was 6. Then later taught me how to trap furbearers. My job was to jump on top of brush piles when we rabbit hunted and sit still next to him and NEVER move when we deer hunted. He passed away in 1998 but the skills he taught me, I never forgot.

So again...Enjoy the day fellas with your families and have a great Fathers Day!

Amen Joe, always refreshing to read your posts on family. You sure have what's important figured out. My dads been gone for 20 years. Still have some good memories. My boys have been the best thing I could ever imagine. Still full of magic and wonder watching them grow. Happy Father's day y'all.

Amen!!! My Father took me Hunting and Fishing every time it was possible. He would even take me and my Brother out of school.LOL

I never saw him shoot a single arrow in his life. He did buy me my first bow though. A 25 lb. fiberglass recurve. That was 45 years ago. I've been shooting a bow ever since.

This year marked 30 years since my Father passed away. Not one single day has gone by when a memory of a hunting or fishing trip doesn't come to mind.

If Your Father is still with You consider yourself lucky. To those of us who's Fathers have gone to early in our lives I hope a special thought of them is revived today.

Happy Father's Day Everyone!!!!!!

Happy Fathers Day!Dad and my two younger brothers and their families where all at my house yesterday.Funny how the hunting stories and pictures always start up every time were all together.Dad started me out hunting as soon as I was able to keep up with him and my grandfather.Started with squirrels and rabbits around 7 years old and moved up to deer at 12.I got him into bowhunting when I was 17 and we have been at it hard ever since. We actually will be hunting axis deer this coming weekend together.

Here is a pic from early eighties at hunting camp,I am on left dad in the middle and my brother on the right.Good times for certain!

Spent the day with my now 80 old dad, my father in law, and brother in law, shooting pistols, rifles, and tannerite bombs.
We do it every Father's Day with our family's , sometimes my 2 brothers and other brother in law is there as well . It was a beautiful day in sunny western NY
