Has anyone hunted here?

I see he has Javelinas (and hogs) in March.

This might be what we are looking for to match up with one of the guys vacation time.

Looks as though we need to bring our own camp trailer?

This we could do.

Just wondering if anyone has been there and was it a good trip?

I had an invite to go there this spring, but not enough time to do it.

The guys that have been say lots of hogs, not sure if they killed any javies. They had a blast, killed some hogs and will probably go again.

As a note, the guys running it shoot trad also from what I hear.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I hunted there earlier this year. There are javies there, as well as hogs. It is pretty much a DIY hunt, and you will need to have anything that you might need with you. You get shown around and then put in an area to hunt. If you are not seeing anything, you can move around. There are some feeders with lights for night pig hunting, and you can also just corn out roads for night hunting if you are there when you have enough moonlight. They only hunt 1 week each month and I think they try to have that week during the bright moon phase. I did not kill anything. My 2-day hunt was cut short to one day by a minor family emergency.

I'm not sure about Brett but I know Todd is a trad shooter.

If you want a better reference, PM Phillip Fields. He has been hunting there for many years.

Looks like a good place Irv. I see Tom Colstad from Trad Archers World has a pic on the trophy page. He would be another good reference.
