I would say what I say to my wife....

No your butt makes your butt look big but the Pants look great.   :knothead:

I know no filter puts me in the dog house often. Great looking arrows though.

Great job on the arrows but I think it's probably your bow.

Thanks again guys.  Got a few shots in this evening.  This is the first shooting I've done since around February.  (Head hanging in shame)  Been too busy in my garden.  Anyway.  I got these arrows bare shaft tuned with the 190 grain Simmons interceptors back then, but was all out of feathers and didn't have any field points over 150 at the time, so that was where I stopped.  I shot about six shots to get my nock set just right on that pretty new pink string, and this is my first three shots after that from around 12 yards or so.

These arrows are pretty heavy for this bow (around 13-14 gpp - haven't actually weighed the arrows, just guessing based on combined component weights).  Makes it kinda slow, but they fly good and man is it quiet.  I actually shoot a lighter point and total arrow weight on my 53# Red Wing Hunter, but this is where it started shooting good and I'd rather they fly straight than fast.

No comment on YOUR butt, but that target butt looks good. What type nocks are you usin'?   :saywhat:
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

Is that your butt the bow and arrows are resting On? In which case yes. But mighty fine job on those arrows.

The only kind of nocks I can shoot.  I'm a recent compound-trad convert and all of the arrows I have on hand are carbons from 50 up to 70# spine.  I got them shooting good with my 53# bow two years ago pretty easily, but this 42# one just couldn't do it.  I didn't want to spend a lot on new arrows right now for various reasons and I thought of these that my dad had.  They are Browning brand carbons from the early 90s that I believe we're built for them by Beaman.  Not sure if you are familiar with them but they are a very small diameter with nocks and threaded outserts that glue outside of the shaft.  They are somewhere around a 60# spine, but the small diameter puts them closer to center shot and with my dad being 6'7", they were still the full original 32" length.  The diameter and length combined with the 190 gr up front let me get them bare shaft tuned.  Problem is I only have 10 of them and a handful of replacement nocks, so I have to be very careful with them.  The nocks are actually a variety of colors.  They were already glued on so I just painted them white along with the shaft.

Matt,

You'd have to post a pic of a couple of your arrows shot into your target butt before I could make a judgement as to whether or not they make the butt look big.    ;)

Great looking arrows and bow!

Those are hott  :)

They will be easy to find and track in the air! That's why I use pink or chartreuse.
