I use the Selway Slide on, on both of mine.  I like them and they work great for me.  I too think they probably help to quiet the bow a bit.  Rick.

It is a fact that a bow quiver can in many cases quiet a bow down. We hear that a lot. It can also stabilize the bow allowing for a tighter group. With some quivers, however, your shot can be altered, requiring that you retune. A word of advice is to know your equipment, including the  quiver before you go into the woods.

Good advice Don.  I always practice with quivers on my bows...just like I hunt.  I even practice with one arrow missing like I just pulled the arrow from my quiver to shoot.
