need to make a one piece a two piece
« on: September 24, 2007, 12:14:00 AM »
What bowyer will take a one piece longbow and install a bow bolt for me? I have two long bows of different design that are currently one piece - and I need them cut and installed with a sleeve or bow bolt? Thanks.

Not a good idea. Most bowyers will not do this the bow bolt is put in to the riser before it is shaped. Just cuting a bow in half to do it will not work. That is what I have been told by a very reputible bowyer.
