Tukudu wrote a nice review on a 56" slammer a few years back.  Check the archives or maybe look at Leons site it may be there.

I have been waiting for Leon to finish mine.  He should literally be shipping it anytime now.  Will be 56" and around 52@29.  Wenge riser, carpathian elm limbs, horn tips and some other goodies.  Stay tuned for one of my in depth reviews and like 30 high quality pics.   :)   :)   :)

I picked one up off the blanket sales last year @ Denton...56" 42#@28. I really like it.  I also have a short 27" draw due to arthritis in my clavicle.

Great hunting bow. Smooth, stable, easy to shoot.
Mine is a plain-Jane workhorse, with brown glass and Goncalvo Alves riser. One of my favorite hybrids.

Leon is a great guy to deal with & his work is excellent. I have a slammer and enjoy it very much, however I do not shoot it well and I would order one that has more mass weight. You should talk to Leon and he will work with you.

I actually have a 66" slammer on order right now but would really like to add a short bow on the rack for hunting out of a blind.  Leon is supposed to have a few of his 56"ers at Denton Hill that I hope so shoot.
