Please donate your old camo clothes for disadvantaged children
« on: September 24, 2007, 10:19:00 AM »
Trad Gang has great heart and I know some will help out. I live in Appalachia and believe it or not some of the youth come from homes that do not even have running water. Some are from broken homes and extreme poverty. Some need a father figure.

Anyway youth hunts have been very successful at helping these kids and what we need is some camo for them. Your small sized used stuff would be much appreciated. They want to fit in and feel like they belong.

Please forward your duds to:

Mr. and Mrs. Cisco
8295 Lincoln Pike
Patriot, Ohio 45658

Thanks for anything you could send.

Paul

I don't have anything even remotely close to a small size but I'll see if I can't find some for you.

Guys/Gals,
Anything is so appreciated and some kids get kinda large from the crummy eating habits.

Much better to send it and help a kid than use it for waxing your car or shop rags!

Thanks so much!

most of it's prolly too large for most of the kids but I've bagged a pretty good bunch of stuff, try to get it in the mail before the w/e

thanks for letting us help

P.S. i hunt sometimes near Athens, OH. If i get up there this year I'll try and bring some more stuff, maybe i could even take some of those kids hunting with me. At the very least i'd like to shake your hand Paul. i'll PM you if it looks like i'll be there this year

You folks are SUPER!

Cisco is the family name that does the bulk of the organization work and  will take the clothes you all send. I should have said Mr. and Mrs. Cisco. Great people.

I may just have a Small enough Jumpsuit that may help. Goodwill of all Places. I will also look through some things that I was  SO LUCKY  to Receive from Others, "Gotta Pass it On"!

What ages are the children?  I may have some camo they can use.  Also, I have a shooting glove, tab and armguard that are too small for me if you need them

I sent a box today. None of it is small but some pants, several T shirts are mediums, and some camo hats. maybe they can use some of it.

Good Luck and thanks for watching out for our future.

I will go through my stuff and send what I can. I have some old BDU's from my days in the Army too...might take me a week to get it together and send, but it will be done. Nice thing you are doing.
