Bunnies
« on: July 19, 2014, 11:28:00 PM »
Went out yesterday afternoon. Went and cheated used a recurve.  This bow just would not shut up kept saying take me hunting take me hunting. I really like shooting this bow.  Worked my buns off for two bunnies and a couple of ground squirrels. Took my new camera but left the battery at home. had to use the phone.  Was hot so they only had their heads poking out of their holes. The two I got was hiding in the shade next to the peach trees. Both was about 20-30 yards out could not get close to them. No easy ten yard shots  they was running or just peeking out at you from their holes

close up of the weapon. Named her Matsuba ,Japanies for pine cone scales. She's wearing koi (carp)skins,

You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.

I think you just got so good at huntin' the coyotes that it became too easy for you, so you decided to try a different tact....starving them out!

good shooting, and nice setup you have there. No wonder the recurve was talking to you.
