Potawatomi in Kalamazoo
« on: July 20, 2014, 11:27:00 AM »
Today my dad, sister and I are thinkin about goin to Potawatomi, but we have never been there before. So I was wondering if anyone else has been? What's the price per person? And does anyone shoot wood arrows at Potawatomi?

Where in Kalamazoo are they located?  My in-laws live in Portage(right next to Kalamazoo).  I'd like to know of a place to shoot while there.  I shot in an archery store when I visited there in June.

finkm1 -- for one thing Potawatomi is a Native American tribal group of the upper Mississippi River and Western Great Lakes region.

This sounds as if it's a shooting range.

I've shot there before. Its a great course with realistic shots at all kinds of angles, up, down through trees etc... The course used to change weekly too. I can't remember exactly where it is though. Its in the area South of "F" ave west of 131. You can see the freeway on one of the shots they used to have set up.

Good luck if you get there.

Potawatomi is a 3D corse in Kalamazoo. They are open on Sundays. $10 per person.  Didn't get to shot the day that I first asked the question because of a shooting tournament that was goin on. But it looks awesome. I plan on goin again. Check them out on Facebook. I'm not sure of their address or what road they are on.
