the ol' t/d sparrowhawk that vince just shaved off some weight and refinished - now 47@29 (gettin' older!), surewood fir shafts @ 660 grains, a bit over 15 yards away from the foam block.  not as tack sharp as i used to be, but it'll do ok i think.

First you stack the arrows,   :archer2:
Then you stack the hogs.
Those are some good looking arrows.  Good luck on your hunt.

still working on form and shot execution, but with a much lighter weight 41# montana and a mixed bag of arrows (3 carbons and a woodie, each a different mass weight from 510 to 660 grains), the same 15+ yards and the same foamie butt ... (click the image for the vid) ...

... time to get out and rove the woods.  fall is just around the corner ...  :D

mike, do wear more than just a hat - unless yer yard has high fences, then ya can lose the hat.   :)

it's been hot as hades, super humid.  things have cooled down today.  back from my morning walk and saw Lots of momma deer and their fawns.  mmmm, future suppers.   :D

I was looking for something rather different...I live in a part of the world where we sometimes can see real snow 12 months of the year...we have just had a big cold front move in and I would guess it has snowed some in the mountains or even the foothills

DDave
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

We cannot have high fences here, every time I go out to shoot and get some sun on my back and belly, the women ride by honk their horns and yell things at me.

Rob, is that the Sparrow Hawk I shot?

It was just a bit stiff for me back then, but 47@29 sounds real good.

If Vince starts taking orders again, I may just get a lefty TD Sparrow Hawk. I sold my right-hander when I switched to lefty, but have my little 33# Mohawk lefty still. They are nice bows.
