Well, we just returned to the States about six weeks ago and I wanted my boys to get their archery certification so they could hunt this fall.
They did the online study and registered for the shooting portion of the test which was held this morning.
Both boys passed and were the only traditional shooters in a group of about 25 students. The shots varied from 15 to 28 yards, and that whitetail deer target 26 yards out in a narrow shooting lane between several trees was tough!
The instructors were flat out impressed and one commented that he'd personally only seen three adult men pass with traditional bows.
Now they are all keyed up to start hunting this season.
