Can someone educate me on how to handle/prep a snake skin after I get it off?

I just stretch it out on a board scale side down and tack it along the edges. Then take a spoon and flesh it out. Doesnt take long for it to dry. After it's dry then do what ever you want to with it.

I used a hammer tacker and stapled it down to a board stretching it as tight as possible and tac king it down as close to the edge as possible then I fleshed it and let it dry. It turned out good.

After you tack it down, and I am assuming this is being done outside, get ready for the parade of Yellowjackets. I was doing a Copperhead one year and had no more than propped the board up and they were landing on the skin.
Good Shooting,
Craig
