Anybody had experience sharpening Simmons heads with the KME system? Guess there's a new accessory for the knife sharpener that puts a great edge on the Simmons heads.

I think Ron calls it the "Jewel Stick". It has a convex surface that fits a concave edge. 3 grit sizes and It works. But I will let him step in and tell about it.

What Lin said. The jewel stick is the ticket. Gets my sharks so sharp I'm scared to look at them.

My best way handsdown is the Hewlett jewelstik and the razors edge arrowhead guide way better than any other method I have tried

I really like the sharpener that Simmons sells - can't remember the name works simialr to a lansky but far better. I can get a surgical edge with the ceramic sticks

The jewel stick accessory for the KME puts a great edge on Simmons sharks, I've been using it for awhile now.
