when your form is better than ever, rain is finally falling, the countdown has reached 14 days, and your bare shafts are flying like lasers (finally). Woo! It's almost here!!!!

I took my bow for a walk in the woods to check out some country and gather some huckleberries a few days ago. I got into some good huckleberries around 6000+ feet, saw a couple of yearling black bears too. Then late in the afternoon as i was glassing some hillside meadows i had two different elk sightings. the last group was 3 bulls, a raghorn and two larger bulls, in a meadow on the far side of the drainage. Several dead stumps that day too. Hard to believe it is almost that time again. Smiling, i got that itch too.  :archer:

Did a litlle stand setting in the am and just came back in from shooting. 20 is still not there but 15 was 10's or 8's not very from the 10 ring and the stands should give us 15 or less. I'm feeling it too!
