natural ground blinds this year
« on: September 04, 2014, 10:21:00 PM »
Got a broke foot this year so I'll probably be on the ground at least until December. Not a big fan of the pop-ups. I'd love to see this years hide.

I sit here a couple times each season.

I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

I was in this one last year, no shots though.

I spend a lot of time in this one since it's on my property. Have shot deer, passed up deer, missed deer out of it.

Pruners, limb saw, zip-ties, and some blind fabric in a pack. Only thing I haven't got on that list is a good folding chair!

Sat in my brush blind the other morning just to see how she does, had 1 doe within 2 yards, full view and had a group of 5 at just 12 yards till a big mature doe came and chased em off. I think the blind should work pretty well.

I think I am going to try a primitive shelter/blind this year.

Made with cedar and seep willow.
