I see my favorite bow company is the Sponsor of the Week.

I also see he has a sweet hedge recurve in the classifieds.  I have a new hybrid longbow in the works so I should be able to resist right now but I keep thinking of how nice that will look with some time in the sun...

I'm a longbow guy, so from what I have seen, the Hybrid longbow is going to do everything I could ask for.

I just picked up a used Tall Tines last week. It is an all Zebrawood 58 inch 59@28 recurve. The bow was a originally built for Danny Rowan. I am really taking to the Tall Tines!

It's a 55@30 62" Chechen with the 1'st yew limbs Brian has done (after talking with him I don't think they are the last)  Shoots where I look and is supper quiet.  Quick too.  Best part is I will shoot a full length Easton aftermath 340 with a 225 point like a lazer.  No need to cut shafts and my arrows weight a beautiful 585 gr.

It's been awhile since I owned a Tall Tines.  What brace height will I need for a 62"recurve?  Also, what length string should I need for it when I order a new one?

Here's a link to one of two threads I started regarding my new to me Tall tines which I should receive later this week.

Bill...my 62" TT recurve shoots best with a brace height of 7-5/8", which is right in the wheelhouse of what Brian recommends if I remember correctly.  Not around my bow now so will have to check on string length, I have it somewhere on my computer.

Bill I'm shooting mine on the long side of 7 1/2 and it's the same length and # as the one headed your way.  I am shooting the strings Brian sends out with the bows and it seem to be a really good string.

Standard AMO 3" shorter than the bow length for all the TTs.

59" for a 62"

Steve,

Thanks!  That's the standard for the other bows I've owned over the past couple of years, but, I couldn't remember for the TT.  Something to do with old age I suspect, but I don't remeber for sure.   :)
