So I might have to chop an extra .5" off on a set of arrows to get my arrows to tune perfectly. Every other bow I own uses a 29.5" arrow, I wanted to keep all my arrows the same length so my sight picture wouldn't change, but it looks like that might not be possible.

Anyone else shoot arrows of different length? Does it make it difficult to switch between bows?

Thanks!

My wood arrows are 30" and my carbons are 32" it doesn't mess me up switching between the two. I don't think a half inch will mess with your gaps at all.

It's another variable.  I think anyone should use the same bow for long enough to get used to it before they do anything important with it, like hunt or enter a tournament, because there are other, unavoidable variables between different bows and arrows.  I don't think .5" is going to make much difference, so you should be fine.

I'm sure there are things you could do other than cut .5" off to get the arrows to tune perfectly.  Personally, I'd rather do one of these other things and keep all my arrows the same length, but this is a fairly minor preference.

My arrows are between 29 and 31, just depends on what size and what bow. I never pay any attention to arrow tip so its not a problem for me.........

I shoot different lengths from my bows, with carbons I let my tuning determine the length of the arrows.I don't use the point of my arrow to aim with.
