Looking for a new pack

Hey guys.  Curious as to what packs you guys are using.  My last two high dollar packs have failed to impress me so I'm looking for something else.   I usually just do day hunts with a climber.  I bring the usual hunting stuff plus including some extra clothes and a cook kit for mid day lunch.  My other packs were a frost river isle royale jr and currently a mystery ranch crew cab.  I like the crew cab for camping trips but for hunting, having to undo straps to get to zippers annoys me.  Also with the MR, when it's in it's smallest form, there really isn't a lot of room for stuff, in it's biggest form it's way overkill.  So what do you guys use?  Thanks, and pics are appreciated.

I Have been using the Kuiu 1850 the last couple of years and love it. Great day pack. It is on the upper end but i think it is worth it.

Pleanty of room for what you are after and not too many pockets, however the extra pockets that are on it are very functional. The support is awesome, as a heavy load feels like nothing on your back.

I would definately give it a look as it sounds right up your alley.

Hard to beat Day One pack. Mine is ASAT in Bucksuede and will hold a ton of stuff, rides nice on the back, well made and built here in the USA.

I've had a Crooked Horn for about 15years now.  Great pac and they guarantee them for life, I sent mine in once for some repairs and they got it back to me pretty quick.  Joe

As a 'slightly-larger-than-small' daypack, I'm disgustingly impressed with my Tenzing 2220. Good storage space, easy access to both pockets, stretchy bottle pockets, bladder port & pocket, amazing strap system, external straps that can be used for carrying extra gear or as compression straps. Expandable side zippers, either allowing you to carry a spotting scope & small tripod, or if unzipped & empty, allows the bag to expand to an extra 1/3rd it's size.
Great belt pouches too for small stuff you want close at hand.
Not cheap, but utterly bomb (& shower) proof & I doubt I'll ever find better!

I just purchased an Eberlestock 3 liter hydration pack and really like it thus far. It's a little pricey. Has a sack that folds up, perfect to put a jacket in while walking to your stand. Easy to use, quiet, designed for hunters.

I like mine, too. Lots of good features.  Maybe the best is the integrated rain cover.  The only gripe I have is the way the top of the main pocket opens.  The geometry makes it next to impossible to use the space at the very top of the pack.  Not really a big deal, but the stated capacity might be greater than what can actually be used.

I have a tenzing 1200 or something like that and I'm also impressed ...... especially for the price.

Amazingly compact and rides tight to the back.

I've use a lot of packs - for the money you simply cannot beat the APLs Outdoorz Pursuit for treestand/day trips
