MI E-License Mailing problems ( Gonna be late for bow season )

Hi Gang,

Thought I'd pass this along....

"The mailing of kill tag(s) that you recently purchased via the MDNR E-License website will be delayed.  All licenses that were purchased on or after September 14, 2014,
are not expected to be mailed until October 2, 2014, at the earliest.  This means that you may not receive your kill tag until October 10, 2014.
 
If you require these kill tag(s) prior to October 10, 2014, you should contact the Department of Natural Resources, Licensing & Reservations section’s customer service team at (517) 284-6057
or email us at [email protected].  We can void your internet purchase so that you are able to repurchase kill tag(s) at a license agent location.
 
Refunds will be made when the mailed items have been returned and received by the DNR.

Here's how it works..
I called the number..
listen to the 1st message.
press one for touch tone phone.
press 0 for a person.
Got through quickly..
They ask for your Drivers License #
They will then void your purchase so you can go to a store and buy it immediately.

The hook of it is this...
You have to wait until you receive the Licenses in the mail...the mailing is automatic and apparently unstoppable.
..then send it back to them.
..then wait for them to receive it and log it in.
..only after that will they refund your credit card.

kinda sucks having to have an extra $40 tied up in this....

Wow...sorry to hear about that!  I bought two leftover antlerless permits along with the one I drew on the 12th - they showed up in the mail the day before yesterday.

If I need any more (at $20 a pop I'll have to debate about it - LOL) I'll make sure I head to a local place to have them printed there.
