New Bow Report
« on: September 29, 2014, 04:57:00 PM »
Got out to shoot the new Grizzly.  Shooting 400 spine ICS Bowhuners, full length.  I descried them in my previous post so I wont get to into that here.

The bow shots very nice.  Much faster than I had anticipated.  The heavier arrows definitely make for a quieter shot too.  From a square set up, I had to move the nock point up about 1/8" and that was it.  Great arrow flight and quiet fast shooting.  Could not be happier.

I do need a better glove or maybe try a tab?  Been a glove person foever, never tried a tab.

Suggestions?

Bateman tab, very good cordovan(durable) and good price. After I got used to a tab a glove is hard to go back to.

Congrats on the bow and enjoy.

No good reason to not shoot with either a tab or a glove...I use both depending on the situation...the more you switch back and forth the less difference you will find...I should note that I also use both left and right handed and one big feature of a glove is that it will work equally well either way

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

You can also make a tab very easy with a bit of leather! I like doing it just because it's fun. You can treat it with a bit of boot cream to it makes it a bit slicker and softer.

Nathan, what kind of boot cream do you use on the homemade tabs? Mine get stiff and dry and I don't think I'm getting clean releases because of it.
Shoot Straight..

I love the Neet traditional tab in Cordovan.  One on my hand, a backup in my back pack.
