I've heard that it doesn't make any difference because the arrow doesn't begin to spin until after it's left the bow.
I'm right handed and shoot left wing feathers with single left bevel heads so that they continue to spin the same direction upon impact.

It does not make any difference, unless you are using single bevel broadheads, If that is the case then the helical of the fletching meeds to be the same as the bevel of the broadhead.

I'm RH and shoot both LW and RW,doesn't matter on a well tuned arrow except for the single bevel broadheads. Most arrows these days have tuneable nocks, just can just rotate them.Unless your arrows have glue-on nocks.

for whats its worth i am right handed and shoot RW.
it keeps your tips tight since the arrow spins clockwise.
not as many size and color choices in RW, not sure why.

You do need to match the fletch to your fletching jig as well...I shoot both right and left handed with both right and left wing fletch and if there is any difference I cannot tell

I don't think it makes any difference and I shoot both. For some reason, it is easier for me to fletch arrows with right wing feathers so that is what I would go with.

I shoot right wing feathers, as a holdover from my compound days. I used to shoot carbon arrows, and a right wing feather rotates the shaft clockwise, which will tighten the shaft to the field points or broadheads as they impact the target.
Now that I shoot wood arrows that does not matter, except that my fletching jig clamps were all for right wing feathers.

If you shoot right fletch, give me a PM as I have a bunch of 4" and 5" that I would like to trade for 4" left wings.
One of those things- not sure where or why I got them, but they don't work on my left wing jig.

I use both shoot well for me, even the right wing I mistakenly fletched with left wing jig.

There was one time it made a difference for me. I shot a Martin Savannah a few years back and had RW feathers on my arrows and all was well. Then I sold the Savannah and bought a whip. The grip on the whip made it so my bow hand was closer to the shelf. Made it feel like I was shooting off my hand Moore. I liked this but now had a problem. The feathers were hitting my hand and cutting me. Switched to LW and problem solved.
