Big Dog ladder stands
«
on:

We came to Florida for our beach vacation. While cruising the local tackle stores, I have an opportunity to buy some ladder stands at a reduced price. They are about 40 dollars off regular price.
Does anyone have any experience with these stands, models, etc. I did a search and a beagle stand was mentioned several years ago.

I found Big Dog Stands to be of pretty poor quality. I have a ladder stand made by them that is flimsy and noisy.
I also bought some 20' stick ladders made by Big Dog and the tree bracket only keeps the ladder away from the tree about 4 inches which forces you to climb with just your toes. When I called Big Dog about this, their response was basically "too bad".
Poor customer service, cheap and borderline dangerous junk, made somewhere other than the USA. You'll get what you pay for. I sure did.

I have one of their doubles - not top of the line but mine is solid.
