It definitely isn't trad related, nor is it 100% bow hunting, but I really like Jim Shockey's new show, Uncharted. I think it is very similar to what you are describing with the exception of weapons.

Man I sure don't want to be one to discourage a dream.  If it's in your heart, go for it!  A guy like you... a true hunter/adventurer with that sweet Aussie accent would be great.
The thing that I think turns so many of us off from the popular outdoor shows is that they act as if all the products are what make them successful... which we know is not the case.  Obviously a show has to have sponsors to make money so I guess the best approach is to try to have sponsors with legit products and don't advertise them all through the program.
Or you could just make DVD's and sell them.
Just start filming and editing and see what happens!
I would watch you chasing those mountain Tahr any day!

Good Luck, I pitched this idea to 4 sports networks about 8 years ago.  One was to have a show where the hunter did what you are talking about.

I agree with Tsalt. Can't stomach any of the hunting shows now. All are just pimping products. I did like the meat eater show. Do that with a trad bow on youtube and I'd watch, for sure! Good Luck!

Majority of us would love to see your adventures. However, there is no money to be made in such a venture. Thousands have tried. At best it is a good way to write off your adventures and build up your ego. As you may know a write off is only good if you've made lots and need a write off. Most of these sucessful/long running  shows are funded by individuals with deep pockets from other very sucessful ventures. Not to rain on your dreams but this my friend is reality. Several that have made it at this game have told me that in the end it sucked the entire enjoyment they once had clean out of them.
