Any Midcoast Mainers?
« on: October 15, 2014, 01:17:00 PM »
A few buddies and I are planning a trip out to Maine for 2015. My family has a cabin/farm just outside Warren that we will be staying at.

We have never hunted the area, but decided we'd give it a go and have fun no matter what we find. It looks like there is enough state land no to far from the farm, and we have some acreage at the farm as well.

Anyone on here in this area or hunted there?

Thanks,
MT

I live in Waldoboro (I can see Warren from my kitchen window) and hunt the area.  I will do anything I can to help out.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

That is close. Our farm is north of town on 131.

I'll hit you up here or in a pm when questions come up.

Thanks in advance,
MT

I have hunted different spots up there (mostly for birds before the covers got built in.  Still know some of the area.  Let me know when you need more info.
