Just for the heck of it, I took my compound to the blind last Sunday.

I took a few shots in the backyard first and found the draw cycle very unfamiliar and unpleasant.

I guess because it IS a legal weapon, and I like to think of myself as an open minded person, and I used to shoot it all the time, when I knew nothing of stickbows (not that I know much now, but...) and I wanted to see if it was still fun.

And you are right.

It's boring.

It's not near as much fun or challenging.

It's heavier, clunkier, more complicated, not smooth drawing, not nearly as pretty....just did not feel right.

Glad I made the decision to switch and...

Glad you did too,

Welcome!

You are amongst the most courteous, sincere, and helpful people in the traditional community.
