I Get It!
« on: October 20, 2014, 08:31:00 AM »
I started hunting one thing or another over 40 years ago and this weekend I felt something I never have before. Watching the woods with the recurve in my hand a feeling of this is just right, that this was how it was supposed to be done came over me. I saw 3 deer, none close enough for a shot, but that wasn't the point; it was a great weekend. (well the boy using my compound hit what sounds like a really good 8 in the hoof     :knothead:     but that is besides the point) Think my days with the wheel bows are officially done; they feel out of place in the woods to me now.
