Look for fattony on here.  He has one and can probably tell you whatever you need to know.

daveycrockett, I just got mine yesterday and I really like it, has a wonderful grip, very smooth, fast and I was surprised at how easy it is to shoot accurately for a short bow mine is 56" 48@27. I was getting on here to write about it when I saw your thread good timing I guess, Kent's take downs get alot of attention but if your looking for a one piece definitely don't over look the Smoke it is a great bow.

Sounds good. Is it quiet?

I have a 56" smoke that I got this summer from Kent.  It is 54@29 and it has been in the stand with me all season thus far.  I seem to shoot it better than any of my other bows.  It is still small enough to maneuver in a tree and is a real joy to shoot.  One of my favorite things about the smoke is it is real easy to match arrows to it.  Kent cuts his risers a bit past center and that makes them a joy to tune.  Pretty arrow flight, pretty bow, pretty fast, pretty quiet, pretty accurate (with me behind the wheel   :)
I don't think you would be a bit disappointed with the smoke.  I love mine and I am very happy to say it will be in the stand in the stand with me Nov 7-15 in southeast Iowa.... :)
I will post a picture of mine from my phone in a bit... Good luck..

To answer you last question.  I got mine really quiet using some of the bowhush products sold on this site.  I am sure you could quiet it down with almost anything that is just what I used....

Davey Crockett, I've had a Timberghost Smoke for almost two years now. I've killed three Pope and Young class black bears with it and a deer. I don't think it would be possible to be disappointed with any aspect of the bow, its performance, or working with Kent. Top notch. You can see the bow in action at this link:

I don't have anything on my string yet and it is still pretty quiet not quit where I want it for hunting but I'm sure as soon as I get some silencers on there it will be very quiet.

My Smoke is EASILY the bow that I shoot the best. I find the grip to be SO easily repeatable, and it fits my hand the way I need a bow to fit.

I recently got an SBD 10 strand for it, and the mild thump (sound) was quickly tamed by some beaver fur. If there's any hand shock, I can't tell.

The tuning was easy for me, also. I ended up with 30.5" GT Trad 5575s with 300 gn. points (that's what I was trying to tune for). I also have a 56", mine is a smooth 59# @28 (my draw length). I was used to drawing 50# but don't really notice the extra weight, until I've been shooting for a while.

As far as the bowyer is concerned, Kent is top notch! Extremely kind, customer service oriented, patient and a downright likable guy!

I highly recommend you give the Timberghost a try if you're considering it. You will NOT be disappointed. Well, I wasn't anyway. JMHO.
