swivel seat- results
« on: October 31, 2014, 07:22:00 PM »
I bought a chair with swivel seat and back rest from rural king. It has a thick cushion on the seat. I bought because it felt comfortable and is easy to maneuver around anot have to slide around in the chair. It is quiet. I will try it out tomorrow morning and i will let you know what I think. Does anyone own one or tried one? What was your thought on it? Is it comfortable for a long sit?

Used it today while using my ghillie in brush blind and will be using in my double bull. I was wanting less movement while hunting without making any noise.

Heres the my results from I got from its use.

PRO'S
1. EASY  TO SETUP
2. QUIET ONCE SETUP
3. EXCELLENT MANEUVERABILITY WILL SEATED
4. Extremely quiet when using the swivel function of the seat.
5. Has a bag that hangs under the seat to store gear.
6. The backrest is pretty comfortable.
7. Has a shoulder strap that can be used over the shoulder for carrying.

CON'S
1. Little heavier than I would like 7 or 8lbs.
2. Noisy while carrying- metal legs clang together- can be fixed by using some tape or possibly using the rough side of velcro. The reason for it is you dont use that part for your rest or strike plate.
3. The foam on the seat is comfortable for a few minutes.  I believe if it was denser it would be better. Im gonna replace it with the thermaseat pad  that should cover that part.

I really like the seat. I believe for 29.99 its a great seat for the price and after the legs quieted down and the pad replaced I will be a happy camper.

They think highly of their product to sell prints and framed prints of it to hang on your wall.
