Good idea Warpe! I never thought of using my time saw for cutting my arrows.

Dremel and cut a little longer and true up on a sanding disc with a 90 degree fence.

Many great ideas here. I bought a cut-off saw (apple)and the savings in gas and time alone to tune arrows at home paid for the saw. Plus , no time constraints, like 8-5 to get to the shop. Convenience factor was huge for me.

I didn't read all the posts, but you can get a good Weston arrow saw for less than $150 and I tried the harbor freight chop saw that was actually mounted on a pretty nice jig and it doesn't come close to a real arrow saw in my opinion and the one I bought has the shop vacuum attachment. I'm still really happy I bought it and I've had it probably six years now, it also came with an arrow spinner to check alignment!

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Yup, you need one. It's not something you use every day, but nice to have your own equipment so you don't have to rely on some one else.
