Man if I had buzzards landing in the same tree that I was in I'd be worried it might be a sign!

Not laughing at ya but that is funny! Chalk it up to a good hunting story - well a story?

:biglaugh:    :biglaugh:  I don't envy you today...I had a friend that had a porcupine pee on him from above.......almost as bad!!

I stopped short on a trail when a stream of pee fell right in front of me. I looked up to see a squirrel's butt hanging over a limb.

I guess that's why they invented the Pith helmet.

I cannot confirm or debunk this...
A friend told me once, that he knew a fellow that got puked on by a buzzard. He said the acid in the puke was so bad it permanently discolored his skin

There might be a kill nearby. They usually roost close by until it has been consumed. You might want to cast about and see what is attracting them

I thought about that, Duncan, but because of the pictures/sign/history of this stand, I didn't want to "stink up" the area with my scent.

You sure have a great hint for a name for that stand; "Buzzard Puke".  I probably would have added mine to the buzzard's pile if I had experienced this!
