Waterfowl ????
« on: November 20, 2014, 09:50:00 PM »
We have a lot of marsh that is adjacent to houses ,we noticed that the gadwall and widgeon have stacked up in these holes. They are on land that can be hunted but some of these potholes are close 70yds from houses. I have been wanting to hunt these areas with my longbow but need some arrow advice. I have seen the SNARO heads but many say to use two blade broadheads. Any tips would be helpful.

Ducks are tough birds with heavy down coats so broadheads are required. Snaros work better on soft birds.

Sharp 2 or 3 blade with flu flu's. Practice, and your good to go. Love hunting birds. Tried the snaro, didn't work as well for me, on any birds.   Good luck. Post pics of your success.
