trying to recall
« on: November 21, 2014, 08:43:00 PM »
I am having a discussion with friends, and old tree stands came up.  Of course, the Baker etc.

I remember one, about the same circa (maybe early 70s).  Can someone recall the name and who made it ?  Possibly made by Baker or Loc On, I don't know.  It was a climber device, similar in construct to a Baker but it was in two pieces, one for each foot.  You walked up the tree !

Anybody remember this ?

Yeah, I remember it but can't recall the maker.  Never did actually see them.

Sounds more dangerous than the old Baker.

I think it was actually called the " Tree Walker " two separate pieces that re-connected to make a single platform.

I remember seeing adds for it in a magazine once. Looked like something to stay far away from!!! LOL
