Morrison A riser. Is the sort small sight window ever a problem?

I am going to order a new Morrison Cheyenne. I can't decide on A or B riser. I like the idea of the short A riser and they look nice too. I currently use a Black Widow PCH 60" bow with a 14" riser. It is surprisingly comfortable at my draw length (31.5") as I expect the Morrison would be also with his limb design.
Is that short sight window on the A riser ever a problem? Can you see your arrow in flight? I taped up the sight window on my Black widow to replicate a smaller sight window but couldn't determine if it was affecting anything. It didn't seem to. I might have even shot better?
Also Bob recommended the Max 2 or Max 3 limbs. Anyone have insight on what those limbs are?
I was planning on a darker riser wood combo. With Diamond back skinned  D length limbs.
The B riser is probably better for me but I do like to keep things compact if possible.
Thanks,
Tedd

I'd say if you cant your bow like in your avitar... It would be very little problem.... If you shoot a more upright bow it would probably be more limiting...

My A riser Cheyenne is my go to bow. I have a shorter draw than you, (27") and I cant the bow a good bit and have no issue with the sight window. I shoot "true instinctive" and pay no attention to the bow or arrow so that may have an effect, but do know you can't go wrong with either A or B.

I have no experience with the "max" series limbs but have heard great things. Mine are simply the carbon foam with bocote veneers.

I will post a few pics, but I love mine and Bob is a great guy to deal with. They are at the top when it comes to "high performance."

I have both A and B risers. I prefer the B. However I have no issues with the short sight window on the A riser. I don't have the Max limbs so no comment on that. Bobs bows are very nice and great shooters.

TradbrewSC what is your arrow set up with that bow? Looks like you have footed the last few inches of them.

I'm shooting axis traditionals. Size 400 cut to 28-1/4" I use 75gr. Brass hit inserts and foot with 2" of 2016 arrows. I finish it off with a 200gr head. This set up flys great out of my 55@27 set up!

I don't own one of Bob's bows but have been around them quite a bit. I don't see how you could possibly go wrong regardless of your choice.

Bob's bows are about as good as it gets.

The Max limbs are Bob's take on the 'super recurve'.  They are supposed to store more energy and thus get you more power/fps without added noise/reduced shootability.  Similar concept as the Border 'Hex' type limbs.

The sight window size is only critical if you use the riser as a sighting reference or use an aiming system such as string walking or gap etc.  and at longer distances.  For typical hunting distances and an instinctive/split vision style of shooting I can't see it being a problem.

I don't have a problem with the "A" riser but I don't pay attention to it.  Maybe that's why.

If you gap and shoot straight up and down, it will limit you.  If you cant and shoot instinctively, it probably won't.

I have 5 A risers, never an issue for me. If elephant hunting at 20 yards and under you won't get it all in    :D
