I am a firm believer in bare shafting, but if you are getting shafts that stiff to bare shaft, then you are getting false readings.
I shoot the 7595 trad(300 spine) out of a 65 lb at my draw bow cut past center with a 31 3/4" draw. My arrows are full length and have 300g pts in front of a standard 11g insert.
Don't you think that there is something fishy if someone can get similar to fly with 50lbs ish and shorter draw?
I have seen perfect bareshaft from stiff arrows only to find out that after bouncing off the shelf, the shaft righted itself to show a perfect bare shaft...the guy couldn't quiet the bow down as the arrow was hitting shelf.
I would love for that to work as I have 400 dz 7595's in house that will take some time to sell, but it aint.
If you can get that set up to work, you have serious problems elsewhere ...either in you or your bow.
Rather than think that you are that special...hmmm
wouldn't you prefer to figure out why you are one of the few? and then get it right?
good luck, BigJim
