OK , so I went to Wally World, picked up a set of long camo tube socks , cut the ends off , we'll see how it works.

We don't have much for bitter cold weather here where I hunt in Tx, so this may not be an option for you.

I cut the left sleeve off of a LOT of my shirts, sweatshirts. I may have 4 or 5 layers on, but only two on my left arm.

As long as my torso is warm, the arm with less on does not seem to bather me any.

Thanks Hogless,

Bisch, I didn't have that many layers on , it was just what was bunched up behind my regular arm guard. I was my mistake and I believe in the heat of the moment , I straighten my arm out instead of keeping it bent.

I made a sleeve out of tanned elk leather, just slip it on and good to go.

Depending on the coat, I've used two regular armguards. One between my shoulder and elbow and the other between the elbow and wrist. It works very well and, it makes bending your elbow easier.
