For those of you who have shot both, which do you prefer and why?

I have both and like them equally well. The SK's are sleeker and lighter in the hand though. The take down has more heft in the handle, not a lot but noticeable, and some people prefer that for stability. I find myself shooting the SK's more lately.

Well, that isn't true of my 2014 SK and 2014 TD.  The SK I own has lots of heft due to the Dymondwood riser. Not as sleek either--has a beefier grip area than the TD.  That being said, I seem to prefer the SK--guess I just like one piece bows better.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

I have both, several of each.  I like the extra mass and stability of the take down over the Super K. For some reason it is easier for me to get the T/D's quieter and I shoot them better.  I rarely shoot the Super K's any more.
