Some EFA Mesa Bow Quivers
« on: December 06, 2014, 10:43:00 AM »
A number of people are asking questions about the Mesa quivers. We have been busy, but we feel that we need to put some info out on them. They are still not on the website, but hopefully soon will be.

We make 4 different hoods starting with the Target Mesa, and the hunting quivers including the Short Mesa, Tall Mesa, and the Flattop Mesa. For now we'll just look at the hunting quivers.
I'll start by showing the three of them together, and add more photos and data as it progresses.

The first (Short Mesa) and last (Flattop Mesa)  hoods are designed for broadheads up to 2 3/4" in length. The middle hood (Tall Mesa) holds 3 two blade broadheads up to 3 1/4" in length. They are all available with either Talon Grip (Wrap), Side Mount, or Limb Bolt brackets. They are also available with the Totem system and the Wing setback feature. More photos will follow.

This is what the broadheads look like inside the Tall Mesa quiver. These are Tuffhead broadheads measuring 3 1/4" in length. They are staggered to fit comfortably in the hood, and are completely covered.

Great looking quivers Don! I need to get me one of those for next hunting season. My 3 arrow EFA is getting worse for wear!   :biglaugh:

Very Nice!

Will they hold the wider simmons heads' staggered like you have in the photo?

Love it! Any plans anytime for a single arrow grip for an ASL? I like just the one arrow on it as stalk around.

This is a three arrow Tall Mesa with the Tuffhead broadhead. It works well for the 3 - 3 1/2" heads.

This is a Short Mesa with arrows on a bow.

For comparison, here is a Tall Mesa with the Totem and Wing setback features.

The tall one works great with my Tiger Sharks.  I'm not sure how wide other Simmons heads are, so I'll let Don answer that.  Mine have room to spare.

I'm with Cavscout....any plans for a single Tall Mesa for an ASL and a Hill broadhead?

Cavscout and Green, give me a shout. We have considered, and have made several prototypes of one and two arrow quivers. The number is 919 563-2682.

The Short and Tall Mesas are 2.6" wide at the opening. The Flattop Mesa is about 2.1" wide at the openings.

Thanks for your time on the phone Don.  I'm looking forward to trying the Tall Mesa out on my Super Shrew Classic Hunter for the final two weeks of our late season.

The broadhead openings on the Short and Tall Mesas are 2 5/8" in width to allow for some staggering of heads in the hood. The 4 arrow Flat Top openings are just a shade over 2". This should be helpful in determining which quiver to use for your broadheads.

To answer some questions on price, the 3 arrow Short Mesa is $65.00, the Tall Mesa is $70.00, and the 4 arrow Flat Top Mesa is $75.00. The total cost for a 4+1 Flat Top Mesa with the Totem, Wing, and piggyback attachment is $100.00

If someone can try a wide simmons please let us know how they work.  These look great!  No more foam under the hood would be very nice.

DaveT1963, Both the Short and Tall Mesas have a 2 5/8" opening. I don't believe that the widest Simmons would be a problem, but have not tested those.

This is a photo of the Short Stalker Mesa for those using only one arrow. It will take up to a 2 3/8" wide head and up to 2 1/2" in length.
