Very nice.  Glad you found her.  It is not uncommon to not have much blood in the first 20-30 yards of a blood trail - even with a good hit.  After being hit they can run that first 30 yards in a matter of 2-3 seconds - not much time for the blood to start flowing out the exit wound.
