Great Northern Kickback T/D Quick Mount. I like it so much more than the Hoyt quiver. It's light weight & detachable, I can take it off & put it back on in seconds.

I used the EFA strap on limb quiver with mine, and it works well.  I have never tried the quiver Hoyt makes for the bow; it looks solid, but seems overpriced.

I'm using a Tight Spot on my Hoyt Tiburon. I like the quiver to be placed further back to not interfere with my plunger. On your Buffalo Great Northern put out a Hoyt adapter for their quick detach. That's the route I would take if you want a more traditional looking quiver.

I would just get the hoyt quiver. Your not going to find a more solid quiver for your buffalo than the Hoyt. That and it just looks better on that bow than trying to put a,traditional quiver on it the buff is a modern recurve why not use the modern quiver made for it.

I use Delta style quivers on all my Buffalo bows, did not like the Hoyt quiver as it sticks way too far back off the riser and just did not balance well for me.  With the Delta quiver I can adjust where I want the quiver and set it to balance properly on the bow plus it gives me the 7-arrow option if I need it.

I bought the hoyt quiver and felt like I had been robbed to be honest. I could have bought a dozen arrows for what I paid for it. RC

Yep, everything Hoyt makes is overpriced, but the name recognition allows them to get away with it.  I didn't pay full price for my Buffalos, or even close, and would not recommend anyone do so, as they are grossly overpriced for what you get.  Much better bows with more options available for far less money.  That said, they are good bows, but the quiver is nothing special, just a way to get some more cash out of you, like the Formula limbs, which are proprietary.  They bow could have had standard AMO sight window holes and so had the option of many screw on quivers, but Hoyt rigged it so that you can only attach their quiver, which is about 2x more than it should actually cost.  If I could pick one up for thirty bucks, I'd pay that for it, because that's about what it is worth.

This is what I love about trad shooters. So many ways to do things. RC has to be one of the most successful trad shooters on here so I would never argue about what works for him. But I really like my Hoyt quiver. I like the way it sets the quiver back from the grip and that it is a more flat quiver. I don't like the quivers that are double stacked for lack of a better description.  And it has survived plenty of drops and bumps... I am not the most gentle with my gear. The quiver is not cheap (neither is the GN) but I like it so much I got a 6 arrow as well as a 4 arrow. I use the 6 so I can carry 2-3 blunts when hunting in areas with more small game or out west and switch to the 4 for tree stand hunts later in the season. I've had Kanati and an EFA on there. Both of those were great, well built quivers. The Hoyt just balances the bow more comfortably for me and never moves.

I just read the rest of the posts and did not realize that the Buffalo did not have amo sight holes. I would run that bad boy straight to the machine shop and get it tapped. That would give you many more options.
